Valentines day..
Stop celebrating valentines day if you are Muslim.
Apparently if only you celebrate Valentine's day you are out of islam. My question here is , can anyone's iman be this nazuk that just by celebration of one silly day can break it? Please atleast come up with a valid reason.
Celebrating Valentine day makes you non muslim, but what about celebration of Halloween, new year even your birthdays? On Christmas in Pakistan too we get discounts, holidays, big parties are being arranged..?? Whole restaurants are being decorated in theme of Halloween.
People say that there is no concept of celebrating one day for love, because every day is love day and we can love everyday. So why we celebrate our birthdays? We literally get new life everyday when we wakeup in morning. So that makes everyday our birthday.because this is the One day that people make us feel special they give us surprise gifts shower us with love this One day we feel that we exist .
In this busy lifestyle and tight schedule when we don`t even have times for ourselves, if someone wants to celebrate and make this one day special for their loved one make them feel important and loved. I don't think it is bad. It cannot only be your boyfriend or girlfriend as we associate it with, it can be your husband who work hard everyday to give his family a comfortable life, it can be your wife who gives her whole life to her house and family. Ir can de your parents who we neglect because now we are busy. Just make them happy.
I don`t understand only when it comes to Valentine's day people became all so musalman, when these are the same people who can be found on dates at malls and cinemas.
If you are against of anything because of religion, then in islam we have only 2 festivals. Dont bend religion as you like. If something is bad it is bad. If something is pronounced as Haram in islam , it is Haram in every circumstance. Then follow accordingly. Don`t be seasosnal Muslim and call yourselves modern.
I am sorry if I offended you. I just don`t feel right people use religion where ever they like. Its just a day celebrate it if u want if you dont like then boycott it completely but don`t give lame reasons.
